wheel knocking
what would cause my front driver side wheel to make a knocking sound while rolling in neutral? the sound is coming from the front driver side. it only makes the sound while im rolling in neutral or rolling while i hold the clutch down but not when i give it gas or press the brakes.
im thinking maybe my wheel bearing is going out or the axles...

just talked with my buddy, he said that if it was a bad wheel bearing then it should be knocking or clicking all the time, not just when im rolling in neutral or holding the clutch down.
so maybe cancel out that the problem being my wheel bearing?

clicking is usually axles, i just replaced my bearings if its bearings the sound will get worse the faster you go and you can see if there is play by jacking up the car and see if there is play when you put pressure on it from 6 and 12.
its more of a knocking sound than a clicking sound. i can kinda feel it knocking under my foot on the clutch pedal as it makes the sound.
