what would u do
eventho im a year away from making this decision its always fun to play pretend.
which would u pick.
i love my teg, i was just washing it today, and thought about how much work i put in and how i love driving her. even w/ the paranoia of theft, i would love to keep her and get a truck/SUV for the winter. as seen this season snow sucks and lowered cars on snow sucks some more!!
WRX Wagon....practical w/ the extra space and go anywhere AWD. also will save money in insurance vs 2 cars.
what do u guys think....

i was thinking the same....kinda tired of dodging pot holes, dumb thieves, etc. I say go w the wagon...better on gas than the suv or 4x4
With Iraq being all pissy, i say fuel economy would be a concern in the near future. I like SUV's but i dont have a lifestyle that necessitates getting one. If i lived in rural areas or had to carry lots of crap around maybe or if i was married to a plump woman with 8 chunky monkey kids, maybe...
The WRX is a nice car and subaru is making heaps of money off the whole Rally car heritage thing but there are other cars out in the market to consider.
I have two cars at the moment and i rarely drive enough to even keep one. I'd say wait the year and see how much money you can get for the teg then, how much the WRX or whatever car you want costs, factor in insurance and go from there. I was lucky and locked in a great insurance rate for my integra so i will be keeping mine for a while... unless a thief decides for me.

never sell the integra!!! grrr!
i could never imagin parting wit my ride... it has such sentimental value to me... that even when if i buy a new car.. i'd have to keep it.. hell my stupid ls won't get me more than 5k anyway... by the time i can afford to buy a new car it won't be worth it for me to trade it in.

IMO, your response was very intelligent... Iraq will be dictating a rise in gas prices very soon, you can bet your bottom dollar (no pun intended.)
I am anti-SUV because I commute every day to work (an hour away) and very nearly get run off the road by "Disgruntled Housewives in Subrban Assault Vehicles" almost every day. They have little cattle-catchers on the fronts so they don't suck compact cars like my Civic under them!(think: birds into jet engines, EEK!)
But I am totally pro-Subie WRX wagon. I have the distinct pleasure of driving the WRX sedan sometimes (a friend has one) and it's a total blast... smooth as silk, once you get the hang of the clutch (it's hydraulic, and a little tricky) and can only imagine that the wagon is just as fun. And sporty, too- I'm pretty anti-wagon, but I would rock one. (4 out of 5 hot chics dig it.)
That's my .02.
PS: Not to change the subject, but when and how will I become a real member? Anyone know?

i forgot to mention that i'll own my gsr in april....4 long years of car notes about to come to an end. it'll be nice not to pay my monthly $296.67. like someone said, by this time next year, i'll be out of the academy, and will have a real budget to work w/. so i think i can make a better decision then. its really a toss up for now. it is hard to part w/ something that u've worked on and driven for so long. i think we're not the average drivers who just goes from car to car like it was nothing. then again, its a 9 year old car, although it doesn't look it.
i personally love the WRX Wagon's looks and performance. i rather have the bug eyes than the new front end coming out for 04.

I wrecked my crx....not my fault, but apparently in the books it says it was my fault (25% my fault = my fault
). Well, Progressive found this out after they originally quoted me, and as a result my premiums went DOWN something like $20.
