ok so i just got my motor swapped in on my teg and im trying to get it running.. the car will runn and fire up sometimes.. im getting code 4 crank position sensor, and code 8 top dead center sensor.. both those are in the distributer.. i changed out my dizzy for one off my friends car and am getting the same codes.. is theere something wrong with my engine harness?? the car ran when i pulled the old motor out... any info would help thankjs..

 

bad crank position sensor sounds like a likly culprit.

 

i have changed the dizzy out with 3 different ones and it keeps throwing this code.. the car is obd 1 if that matters..
