Just was changing my fuel filter and looked under the plastic cap on this thing in the middle. See that phillips screw? it was totally out and just resting in the plastic cap cover. I screwed it back in, then i got to thinking, what is it and does it have an effect on anything worth talking about?

found out it's a pulse damper, no one knows what the screw does yet

it's basically useless, many hondas don't have them. But i think it acts as an accumulator for the fuel so the initial shock of the fuel pump turning on is easier on the injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
