Default What the??? (vTec?)

So, this is gonna sound really dumb. I'm still a noob when it comes to engines. I have an Integra LS, but when shops look up my car in their directory (whatever) it always comes up as a vtec car. My rpm gauge thing goes all the way to 8 and starts being red at 7. On my engine itself, it says b18b1. Now that is not a vtec, did someone take out a vtec engine from the car at some point? As you can tell, I'm a bit confused.

Are you sure they arent asking you if its a vtec motor? Whenever I bought parts for my integra they would ask 1.8? Yes. Vtec? No.

if ur still unsure check the vin number on the dash, near the windshield on the drivers side. if it says dc4 then u know that is the orginal motor that was in the car, if its dc2 then u know someone put a b18b1 in a gsr shell.
