I have a welding in the middle pipe of my exhaust that died...and it was making a hole...they fixed it temporarily, and it should last maybe 3-4 months...

What I want to know is: Is it worth to pay 225$ (labor included, that,s the lowest cotation I've got..) to change it for a stock one, or should I pay more for a "modified" one...I don't know if it is possible to buy only that part in a speed shop...and is it more expensive than the stock one? And what about the noise? worth it? (I don't want the cops on my back...)
