what is the sensor that tells the ecu that the engine is warm and lowers the idle?

 

the Idle Air Control Valve and the Fast Idler Valve work in conjunction to allow more air to bypass the throttle plate when the engine is cold resulting in a higher idle. They have coolant flowing through them that controls the valve based on the temperature of the coolant.

where is this located? can you tell me?

 

On the back of the Intake Manifold facing the firewall, I believe.

 

iac valve on the back of the intake manny facing fire wall and the fast Idle underneath the throttle body.
