Just saw it, a little confused. This is my first integra, 97 sedan, and in the trunk on the passenger side above the wheel well is an electrical component, with a harness going to it. Its a large ECU shaped control unit of some type. What is it?

Im used to civics, and ive never seen this thing.

 

You should look around and see if anything is printed on it, also if you snapped a pic and posted it you may get some answers. Could it possibly be an audio component left behind by the previous owner, like a small amp or crossover?

 

are there orange plugs coming from it? I think that's your ABS module unit. I'm too lazy to get my HELMs or go to my Integra to confirm.

 

well, the car does have abs.
