WHAT NEXT
Hey y'all,
I drive a 2001 GS-R. It has about 10,000 on it with the mods that you can see in my signature. I have been thinking about getting some new wheels, however, have just decided that it is not worth the money. I will get some new tires fairly soon for my stock rims. However, i was wondering what mods y'all think i should do next.
I would really like to go FI, however, i am in college and my parents are paying, so they insist that i can not go FI until factory warranty is up. Yes this sucks, but there are still things i can do. What mods do you recomend that i do now that will help current performance, but will not have to be undone when i go FI? I know it wouldnt make any sense to try and up the compression ratio. Any imput would be great. I really love the car, and just want to make it a little faster.
I have done the I/H/E thing and my suspension is set, what next?

I have the koni yellows for shox, and they are great.
About Nitrous, that would void my warranty the same as going FI wouldnt it?
I would have the same problem if i ever had to have any warranty work done wouldnt I?
I have thought about going 50 shot but not done it because of the warranty.
any advice about that?

camsprockets and v-afc will give you the ability to tune your engine and can be used for na or fi...camsprockets usally tuned at around +/-2 degress will make some power and the v-afc will let you adjust the vtec x-over point and allow you to adjust the fuel...the ported throttle body is used to match the skunk2 manifold cause the sk2 manifold has a 64mm opening and the stock t/b is like @60mm.
You can have all these parts on your car now and when you get fi they will still work...but the camsprockets and v-afc should be adjusted on the dyno...
