what the hell is wrong
yesterday my car mysteriously started feeling sluggish. When i glanced @ my vafc i noticed when i was @ full throttle the vafc was only readoing like 85-90% (this is with the car running) when i shut the car off and depressed the gas pedal the vafc read correctly 100% throttle. i checked my check engine codes but it is only throwing code 23 which is knock sensor because i am running a lsvtec on an obd2 ecu. any theries as to what might be going on??? i have reset the ecu, disconnected and reconnected the battery thinkning it would help but nothing. i am running a zex no2 kit which reads off the tps but i even un hooked it to see if it made a change but still nothing please help
My friend and I were hooking up his APEXi VAFC to his 88 CRX. It had a B16a2. So even though his isn't OBD 2, you might have the same problem. When we hooked up his VAFC, the car ran like ****. The VAFC was totally ******* up the idle and reading wrong. So we did everything we could to try and correct the choppy idle, MAP sensor, timing light, reset ECU. We finally figured out that it was the connection. Sometime you have to solder the wires together to make sure they are connected. I would try that man.
