Looks like a valet switch for your alarm. You have to turn on the power to the car, and flip the switch. If you have an LED in the dash somewhere, it will probably stay on. When you arm the alarm, all it will do is lock/unlock the doors.

Or it could be a nitrous switch.

its a driver seat ejection switch...just in case you fly off a cliff, you flip the switch and you fly out the sun roof and parachute to saftey.

yeah i have a switch like that for my alarm. if i turn it off, my alarm just works as a remote key. you turn it off when you don't want the alarm to arm itself

OMG! i flipped the switch on and my car turned into this:

anyway, as far as it being a remote key switch, i set the alarm off w/ it on and off so i guess mine just not connected.

its for the NOS yo! j/p

it looks like a generic switch.. it could be anything really..

if it IS for your alarm then turn the ignition (w/ the key) to ON position... now flick that switch and see if your alarm LED glows (stays ON).. if it does then its your valet switch... now your alarm will only function as a keyless entry and won't autoarm, go off, etc... if it doesn't do that.. then I really don't know what it is..

the switch looks pretty generic so it could be hooked up to anything (or nothing).. maybe it was for something the previous owner took out before he sold it... you can try taking the dash apart and seeing where the wires lead to... *shrugs* sorry couldn't be of more help.. but its really hard to say what it is...
