what to do next?
i just put my comptch header, carsound high flow cat, and rsr exhaust on my car and i am wondering what to do next. Just to let you know i have a cold air intake, denso plugs, and ngk wires already installed on my car. the next thing i want to do is some engine mods and dont know what to do. i was thinking of doing an ls v-tec head swap and getting an ecu but dont know if my automatic trans will hold up with the extra horse with 98,000 miles on it. and if my trans wont hold then i would want to go with a 5 speed and both of those things together are too expenseve. i am willing to dump 2 or 3 grand into my car and if you have any opinions just let me know.

or just do a 5-speed swap with some of that money you have ready, do some quality suspension upgrades, and go cone dodging at your local autocross events.
OR get some cams, valves, valve springs, pistons, and v-tec head. Or just do a turbo on that LS. and leave it as an automatic transmission until it blows then get a manual conversion
No. Dont leave it as a automatic tranny until it blows. Im sure that people can build some nice LS's around here. But with automatic tranny you are at a big disadvantage. If you want to upgrade to 5-speed, you might just be better off selling the car and getting a gsr that comes with vtec and a better tranny. Swap out all your bolt-ons that you currently have and you will be golden. But if you dont want to do that, put your money in a nice sound system.
