What are the differences between OBD2 ecus?
I have a 98 Integra GS-R that I have to return to stock for CA reffing. I have an ECU with Hondata and I don't have the original "chip" (stock one). What year Integra GS-R ECUs will work with my car? I think the 00 and 01 GS-R ECUs are OBD2B and are smaller. Will they work for smogging and visual purposes? Or do I need an ECU from a 96-98 Integra? Or will I only be able to use a 98 Integra ECU?

You will need any OBD2a P72. That would be any 96-99 GSR ecu.
The OBD2b ecu will not fit into your exisiting harness.

Thank you. I didn't know that 00 and 01 GS-Rs had different ECUs.
