Ok so I bought a brand new Apexi WS exhaust and am planing on installing it myself. However I have heard that old exhuasts parts can get welded to eachother and to the cat. So my question is this true and what do I do if the old exhaust is welded to the cat?

 

take a look up underneath your car to make sure who ever had your car before you didnt weld any previous exhaust products togther. I think you should be alright, only thing i had trouble with was getting the 3 collector bolts all lined up and everything. If it is welded to the cat, probably best bet is get a test pipe or new or used cat.
