Weird Sudden Ploblem Help Needed
I have a 98LS, I was driving today at about 55mph in 5th and the car pulls to the left somewhat hard, but very quickly for no more than a half a sec. It did this about 3 more times. It was as if the tire deflated for a split second then re-inflated. Thats the only way I know to describe it. I wasnt under hard throttle at all, and happened about 4-5.
Did some hard turns in a lot before bringing it back home and parking it, didn't hear any popping from the cv joints. I thought it may be the axle but have never had one go bad before so I am not sure. The care doesn't have any other problems or make any noises. Any ideas or thoughts as to shat this may be?

Ok, was driving to work this am and noticed some clicking/popping when making some turns or lane changes. Is this starting to sound more like a axle?

Could be, or could also be bad ball joints. Raise the front of the car on jackstands, remove the wheels, and have a look around at the various components.
Ok, I also ran it off the road a few months back, oops. That could have done something but I have never had issues till now. I will jack it up tonight.
Clicking and popping? Could possibly be that one of the axles are popping out or starting to go. Try driving in a circle and see if one side is clicking while you turn hard.

I did some hard turns, but am starting to think its a axle going bad. It will pop when turning under medium or even light throttle. Also hear some light knocking when I come to a stop out of gear.
Usually if one axle is wore out and clicking you can hear from what side the noise is coming from. Or you can take the axles out and inspect it. Be careful not to ruin the pin and nut when taking off the axles. Even though replacements usually come with them it's always nice to have a back up.
