Weird Coolant Leak!

Re: Weird Coolant Leak!
what year is this teg? and what engine is that? the bleeder valve is supposed to be there i believe on the earlier tegs, so what does that coolant line go to? just off hand the two metals are not expanding at the same rate would be my guess and this causes size differences causing a gap between the line fitting and the water outlet...if this is a teg engine like i am thinking it is but i could be wrong. we will need the year and engine to be of better help...at least i will

Re: Weird Coolant Leak!
just had the same problem a few weeks ago, its most likely the "water neck"? correct me if I'm wrong but its the piece that connects your upper hose to the head with the little valve sticking out. Try Teflon like guy said or just replace it, side note autozone or kragen doesn't carry that part either

Which is why I would never go to a stealership for such a part. They have to order it anyway, so might as well just order yourself online and get the $16 price.

I actually didnt even know that it was cheaper on the site posted above until you stated it was only a $16 fix. I looked and was like WTF, lol but oh well after shipping it probably comes out the same since its free shipping when they order it to their parts department at Acura.
