So i've got a 96' LS. Sometimes my ABS light will come on and my ABS wont work but others it works just fine! I noticed that it only happens if i turn off the car after it is warm and start it back up soon after while its still warm. It never comes on while i am driving at all. If i let it sit for a little while it works just fine. Any help appreciated!

I haven't been able to scan it yet when the cel is on because it doesnt happen all of the time.

 

The codes are stored. Pull them like a CEL, but read the ABS light.

 

Oh yeah. i looked and no codes =/ but i only have a cheap OBDII scanner would i need a more in depth scanner to scan ABS?
