Alright I am having a problem that happens randomly. When I am driving my 1995 acura integra the radio will randomly turn off and at the same time it turns off the abs light comes on. it will stay off for like 3 sec and then the light will go off and the radio will come back on. when this happens it doesent seem like anything else is wrong with the car. also sometimes when i come back to my car it will be dead but it is rare that happens. i had a problem earler in the year about my car dieing when i left my car over night. so i replaced the battery earlyer this year probly like 3 months agow. so if anyone has any ideas that would be great. thanks

That is strange. Pull the ABS codes like you would a CEL. (See the FAQ thread for instructions.) That may provide some insight.

I had the exact same problem about 1 month ago and all it was was that one of my copper terminal posts for the battery was deteorirating so i just bought a new one and fixed the problem. it makes sense since the abs power connects directly to the terminal post.

The fault code should still be stored.

 

that happened to me to it would go off after a couple seconds and would do the same thing with the radio

 

um i dont rember them being bad but i will check it out

 

Check your grounds and your terminals. Also is it a stock radio, or A/M? Amps hooked up? I'd check that out also. I frequent Newark so I'll keep an eye out for your hatch.

 

oh the hatch was stolen and striped make sure you lock your **** up tight now i have a silver 95 integra
