Default Which way down?

I have an '01 GSR with 17" Motegi MR8s. I want to lower it to get rid of the wheel gap and improve handling. I am not looking for alot of drop. I like the H&R OE springs(0.75"/0.75") but it needs to drop more in the front than in the back. I would like adjustable coil overs but I can't spend to much $$$. I searched around and found that the dropzones are cheap but crap. Most other coil overs are too expensive. I would like to hear opinions about Ground Controls and any springs that might be my best option. Currently I am planning on getting H&R sport springs(1.75"/1.5") but I am worried that if I later added an ITR lip that I would be to low. I am open to opinions so tell me what you think. Thanks, JFoster

Dunno if this applies to you or not, but if you have a sedan the rear will be a little lower than the front.

Mine is a two door, but it does sit lower in the back with the stock suspension.
