I'm not gonna lie, total DSM head but have a thing for akkie's lol. Anyways i swooped an LS about 6 months ago, cool little car for the price. issue is.. on cold start the idle likes to run from 900 up to about 2000, pretty erratic. Kind of like me pulling up to someone and constatnly stepping on the gas like i am gonna take off. Sounds retarded.

I know with mitu's it's the IACV, not being much of a honda guy yet dunno where to start. when i unplug the sensor next to the throttple position sensor ( I think) it stops.

 

You seem to be on the money. Take the iacv off and clean it.

 

Thanks, ill give it a shot. havent had time to check the tb on it yet as I am battling getting my eclipse to pass, whole nother issue..

anyways, one other thing, friggin thing is leaking brake fluid like hell from behind the reservoir, so bad that if i dont fill it atleast ever few days it is dry and i know its dry through the lines.. i checked bolts on the master cyliner, left one was slightly loose but didnt fix.. what do u think should i do next??

 

i think there is a lil seal that gose behinde it ... or you might need to replace the whole thing

 

Ouch. Well I figured that might be the case though i was hoping seal, not sure i saw one.. how much does the master cylinder usually run?
