how can i control my vtech with out buying the vtech controler on my 00 GSR

don't mess with it if you don't have any other mods.

If you have mods which might benefit from some VTEC tuning, then don't be a cheap@$$ buy something that will control the VTEC crossover point as well as other things like air and fuel curves (V-AFC, Hondata or similar).

man i se so many of these
"VTEC" words on ht nowdyas...oh well...
anyways, you should just buy a fuel system and save money like a vafc is pretty cheap...then you wont have to spend money on both and it will benifit you many times more than just changing vtec engagement

You need a VAFC or Hondata. Then, either a butt dyno on the street if you know what your doing or hit the dyno and get a tuner to tune it. This is if you even have mods to make it worth the money.

Its set at 4400 for a reason. Thats the best setting for stock trim. Don't listen to your ricer friends who tell you to change it to 2200rpms so MAD VTEC kicks in sooner.....
