Default Vtec Regulator

Hey I hear that a vtec regulator is a good investment except the gas mileage goes down. Is this recommended

apexi vtec controler
gives you a lot of option
but is not all about just adjusting the vtec.
also the air and fuel comes into play
but the fuel goes just like any other mod...

i'd say you're looking into a vafc or similar piggy back. it allows you to control where vtec activates and allows adjustment of pulsewidth. its a good tuning tool if you have aftermarket cams. your stock cams are designed to activate vtec where it does stock, so you wouldn't really gain much from activating sooner or later.

Theoretically, most stock Honda motors benefit from leaning out the motor a bit, which would improve your gas milage.
