gsr= dual vtec engagement
type r =single stage engagment its true ???? thanks

Yes sir, the GSR has a dual-stage intake manifold w/these little secondary "butterflies" that open up at around 6krpms. The Type R has a single stage plenum that has shorter fatter primaries and no secondaries. The reason for the dual-stage manifold is to give the GSR that oh so sweet torque curve.
