vtec question
Hey guys i have a 2000 integra gsr b18c1 in my 98 honda civic hatch. i was having problems with blowing the fi e/m fuse. long story short shop demed it was a faulty ecu. They changed out the ecu and problem solved. they got a new ecu from a wrecking yard so it was a used one. Now im noticing that vtec kick in at 6500rpm rather than the 5500 rpm that it used to kick in. not sure if this is a problem but it seems too late in the band for the car. what can i do to change it back to the 5500 rpm mark?
Thanks guys and sorry im really new to the honda swap stuff.

The vtec crossover is supposed to engage at 4400 rpm. The secondary intake runners open at 5750. If this ecu was from a wrecking yard, maybe it's been tuned to a different motor. And possibly they set vtec to engage at 6500 rpm. Just something to think about. Not forsure on the issue.
