Default vtec question?!?!?

how come my vtec is not engaging as loud as before but it pulls hard tho. i ran over a rock and shut 2 pipes on my headers. do you guys think its the oil pressure from the block? any ideas?

Sounds like your headers arn't headering. I don't know what you mean by "shut 2 pipes" but if you have restricted flow that can be why your vtec isn't loud. Sounds like you might need a new one. I think someone else suggested adding an amp to your vtec if really you wanted it to pop. Good luck

haha sorry... i meant like shut closed. i wasnt too clear. i was just wondering because before it happened, it was loud. it still pulls the same tho. any idea on what happened?

i already changed it to itr headers. still not the same as before.

well if your getting no check engine light and vtec still engage. I would just leave it alone "vtec is suppose to be a smooth transaction". so you should be good

when you smashed your header, it may have caused a shitload of buildup in the head ports in those cylinders, maybe?

i still dont know what happend. no check engine light, engine runnning smooth, no problem. just curious on what caused it. maybe the oil pressure at the block? u think so??
