Again tuning is the key. When i was NA i hit the dyno for ***** and giggles. My hp and torque curve were both flat lines. I had a very very small dip at the vtec x-over. You had to get close to see the dip. When i would x over into vtec i wouldn't feel **** but i could hear the soleniod or something click. Gotta love a dc sport exhaust.

what do u guys think is wrong? it does not seem to have low end power till it hits vtec. Cam timing? Im thinking of goin to a dyno but still have to save up for it. My friend said to advance the timing a little bit but i dont want to mess with something im not sure about. Wish me luck.

So it has plenty of low end power while in VTEC? But seriously, it could be a few different things. Did you replace the valves yourself, or did someone else do it? Perhaps it wasn't properly reassembled, and some of the settings are out of spec. Have you reset the ECU? I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject of tuning, so someone else here could probably help you more than myself.

Advancing the timing will have an effect exactly the opposite of what you're looking for right now (albeit only slightly). Good luck.

you think thats snapping? if you have a vafc, set vtec for 6000 stomp on it in third at 5000...tell me what you think.

btw, your profile is incorrect, the correct line is

"the things you own, end up owning you" i suggest you change it before more people realize your a moron...j/k

I finally found the answer. I just needed a valve adjustment. Thanks for all the replys.
