Default vtec problem with my teg

When i drive my car and put it into the vtec range, at about 6500 rpm, the vtec wont engauge. If i hold it over 6500 it will throw me out and keep me under 5000rpm giving me error code 22 for a malfuntioning vtec solenoid. I replaced the solenoid, i also replaced the vtec spool valve along with the ecu. I replaced a plug too thinking i wasnt getting electricity to the solenoid. I tested the continuity though and everything checks out. when i manually opened the solenoid and revved it up to the vtec range in gear on some jack stands, my oil pressure gauge was reading only 4 lbs on the head. the oil pressure on the block is good though at idle, but reads 0 at the head at idle. i have new oil and i have good oil level. wut am i missing?

wut could cause such little oil pressure in the vtec range? could it be a dowel pin or an O ring in the engine?

Maybe it could be your vtec oil pressure sensor. I don't know the codes well, but its something else to try.
