Vtec doesn't throw you back in your seat in any car, especially one with a b16 oops i mean b17. If you want to get thrown into your seat then build a nice turbo setup.

WTH are you talking about? Vtec pop on? If the car used to have more power than it does now and you could still hear vtec engaging then it could be a bad catalytic converter. Need more info to help though. If you just got the car maybe you are getting used to it and it doesn't feel like it pulls as hard anymore.

The point in vtec is to keep a liner power curve instead of having big dips in it.(2 cams one for low revs one for high)

If you want to feel it buy a vtec controller and throw the vtec point 1-2K higher then its stock point. That way there will be a big dip in your power before vtec engages which will make it feel faster but it will infact be slower.
