i got a lil problem my vtec wire is conected to a diffrent sensor not too much of a problem i can fix it but my problem is that the coolant temperature sensor ithas 2 wires right? i have a 90 integra with a b16. the senoser that i think is the ect, the green wire was cut off so now i have one wire running it. a red one. would that be because its not suppost to have it or what?? i just got the shell from a person that had it set up for a ls vtec. would a vtec head still need the 2 or just one. wich would explain why he cute it??? cuz it does not need it......does anyone know. would it set off a check engine light on???
oh does vtec still turn on if it has a check engine light on???

Turn the engine on and see if u get a cel, if u don't it's probly fine... Vtec still works with most cels, just depends which ones, only a few cel's will put the car in limp mode.
