Will my StopTech ST40 calipers (big brake kit 13in rotors) fit behind Volk racing TE37 17s? I'd hate to spend that kind of $$ on wheels and have them bang into the brakes when I tired to install them. No spacers!!

 

Most kits usually say, and have a little pattern you could cut out if you are unsure.

I know most big brake kits require 17" wheels or bigger.So I'm thinking you're probably safe.

 

buddy had stoptechs on his race car (5 lug) with 17' volk te37's not sure the offset though

 

Thanks. Yeah, StopTech has a template on their website you can print out and hold up to the wheel to check for fitment, but I don't have a wheel to hold it up to. I haven't found a Volk Racing dealer around here with rims in stock.

 

Have you tried calling Stoptech? They may know, alot of people run those Volks.

 

You should be safe, if you have the 17s. But I think the offset also plays a role in all that. So I'd get a second opinion.
