Default vibrations! HELP!

okay, going to work this morning just like any other morning and im half asleep like always. well, i notice a vibration at my feet, kinda like its coming from under the car. when i push the clutch in or the car idles it doesnt vibrate, only when i accelerate. i popped open the hood and nothing is per-say loose, but i only glanced at it slightly. i hit a hard bump the other night driving about 35mph so i thought it couldve been a bent wheel, but it doesnt vibrate when the car is coasting. im stumped, anyone have any ideas?

this sucks because im wanting to sell my car but now i have to get this fixed! this is the first thing thats gone wrong in a little over two years now! just my luck with the timing!

i was thinking that same thing, the motor mount is the first thing im going to look at. the heat shields always vibrate and make an annoying noise, this is vibrating the whole car!

anyone know off-hand how hard it is to change a motor mount? i know the one by the trans is a b!tch and a half but what about the other ones?

I had that symptom on my old 89 Integra. Heavy vibration (almost a side to side vibration) on acceleration. It turned out to be a bent left front axle, I assumed from a bad pothole. Cost about $150 or so to fix from my independent mechanic.

i honestly dont think it is the motor mount becase the engine doesnt torque in the engine bay under acceleration. as far as the axle, is there anyway i can look at the axle from under the car to see if it is bent?

im gonna take a chance and hope its a wheel off balance or the alignment is messed up. im taking it to have it aligned after work today. *crossing fingers*
