Very weird problem
Ok, first i have searched
OK well a long time ago i would get code 43's all the time, changed the O2 and everything worked fine. When i got them the engine would also act real funny before it came on, like if you held the gas steady while accelerating, it would lose power, then gain it back, you can barly feel it but its difintaly there like bogging, but not.
Well today it came back, the O2 only has 5k miles on it so it cant be dead, somone told me it may be vaporlock, and maybe it is becuase it stoped after i let things cool off for a while. Im thinking also it may be my injectors since thay have over 200k on them and are very noisy
The symtoms is that the car will lose and then gain back power when acelerating, then a few minutes later the CEL comes on with a code 43, this is exactly the same thing that happened a long time ago, but today was the first day that i drove the car for a few hours so im thinking maybe it just got hot.
I checked the routing of the fuel lines and they arnt near any heat source, but i am worried that my engine may be running lean becuase of whatever is causing this, is there anyway, besides checking the spark plugs that i can tell if its running lean. I suspect that its only leaned out when the bogging is happening, and im hoping that my ECU is correcting it, but i doubt it, im just worried that this is harming my engine
Any help would be great, thanks.
