Default valve spring question

96 ls, i am reassembling a motor i purchased. All the valvetrain was in a box, i noticed 8 of the valvesprings have yellow paint on them and are taller, 8 have no paint and are shorter, which is intake/exhaust?

damn that sucks. really your supposed to keep that organized and everything is supposed to go back in exactly as it came out unless its new because of wear patterns.
but in your case ill just wish you good luck and a bump
