Valve Cover
if i take my valve cover off do i have to change the gasket? because i took it off and adjusted my valves and put it back on with the same one and there are not any leaks that i see. Any Thoughts
Ive taking mine off plenty of times to do valve adjustments and never changed my gasket. As long as u have it tucked in the groove of the valve cover and its not ripped u should be good.

No you do not need to change it. It's just a rubber gasket, it is reuseable. Just make sure you wipe down both the gasket AND the head where the gasket goes with brake cleaner. You don't want oil there when you put the gasket back on.

^^^Not just the outside corners, but also the middle ones (the ones that go around the camshafts). You don't need a lot, just a light coating at those corners.

What about around the spark plugs. I pulled one of the spark plug wires out today and there was some oil on it. is it possable that i did not set it on strate because there is also some oil on the back of the cover where the washer and the nut is. and it also did not seam like it was lineing up on the two center studs.
