Default valve adjustment

My POS integra GSR is making all sorts of fucked up sounds. i theink that a adjustment is the next step that i should take. it sounds to me like it is in cyl. 1 or 2. (note i havent driven or even started it in a while 8-9 weeks). do you think that could have something to d with it. The weirdest part is that it only makes that clicking nosie when the RPMs are climbing. is it hard to do 5 angle adjustment job? can you help me out with a web site that has a how to? any thoughts would be helpful. thanks and NO DRINKING AND DRIVING KIDS

You only gave it 17 minutes man... now send mee a dollaaa!!

Nah but there's no such thing as a 5-angle adjustment job. You're confusing 5-angle valve job (machine shop work) and a valve adjustment. There's a good how-to on c-speedracing.com that shows how to do it.

Haven't started it in 8-9 weeks? man I hope it even starts at all now.

Do you not hear the noise when it idles? Does it sound like a knocking or pinging noise as the RPM gets higher? You might have some detonation. The knock sensor should retard timing if it detects detonation, and if it's not working you should be throwing an engine code. Are you getting any CEL's?

CEL stands for check engine light, a little light that looks like an engine next to your ABS light, don't be so uptight some people just like to talk ****, just ignore it, good luck with car

you hit the "QUOTE" button when you post a reply and you get a box at the top of your post like you see above this, and you type your reply underneath that.

when you replied to my post above, it was very hard to distinguish which parts I had typed and you were just quoting, and which parts were your actual answers.
