Default USDM vs. JDM Conversion

Im looking into the 5lug conversion and noticed that the JDM conversion requires a 36mm axles while the USDM requires (my stock LS) 32mm axles. Is this true and if anyone knows any useful threads or posts on this conversion please let me know. Thanks

its true. i have the 36mm axles on my set up right now. you might want to look for the usdm itr 5 lug conversion (32mm). it is very rare to find a 36mm axles unless you modd it. but i got my 36mm axles from passwordjdm with my 5 lug conversion.

Different objectives, to some suspension mods are more important that squeezing an extra 12 h.p. from 4 cyl. It's all preference.

In any event, the other alternative is to swap the outer axle hub with a 36mm ITR one. I know my supplier of 5 lug swaps keeps the axle bolt intact so that the customer can buy a new CV boot and attach it to his stock axle.

Or you can order jdm ITR axles from an aftermarket company like Hasport or something.

I dont get why people get so scared about running 36mm.

Ive done this several times. You can use any prelude outer assembly and mate it to you integra axle. Its super easy. Any auto shop can do it or you can do it you're self. Its not expensive at all to make the axles.
