WOuld you need a whole fenders, hood, headlights and bumper lights to do a USDM type r conversion on a 96 GSR? Has anyone done it before? Pictures would help.

USDM ITR has the same front bumper, fenders, hood, headlamps, turn signals as all other 98-01 Integras. It has a front lip on it, that's the only difference.

And the 97 ITR had the same, as the 94-97, with the only difference again being the front lip and the rear wing.

Yes and No, There are many other differences with suspension, brakes tranny....etc

To Cliff notes all of this:
ITR and non-ITR are the same front end. ITR has the ITR lip. ITR has shaved door moldings.

you don't need to rewire anything for the 98+ conversion, the lights plug in.

Who said anything about making an ITR clone? These responses are rediculous and off topic.

To convert your 1996 Integra frontend to the same an a '97 ITR frontend, you'll only need to add a front spoiler (lip). To convert to 98+ USDM ITR, you'll need fenders, bumper, headlights, and spoiler lip. The hood is the same for all 94-01 Integras.

Close, except that the fenders are exactly the same for all '94-01 Integras (part numbers 60211-ST7-A91ZZ and 60261-ST7-A91ZZ). So there's no need to change them.

Note that the bumpers and headlights are the same for all '98-01 Integras. So if you change those, you're just changing your '96 GS-R to look like a '98-01 GS-R. The spoiler lip is different for the ITR model, though.
