Tomorrow I am buying a Type R header from a 98 ITR. From what I have seen on the web, the O2 sensor is in a different location. On a GSR it is on the cat while on the Type R the O2 bung is on the end of the header. Is there an O2 sensor on the cat too on Type Rs? Is this going to affect my car in anyway? Should I have one of the O2 bungs plugged? Anyone no where I can get an O2 sensor plug?

Will a 1998 Type R Header bolt-up to a 1995 GSR without modification?

i don't think it will fit without modification, because i bought a r header used off someone and it fits on my LS perfectly, so it shouldn't fit the GSR

 

Has anyone with a GSR ever put a Type R header on their car? Any suggestions, tips, advice?

I am freaking out....I don't want to buy the part if it does not fit correctly!
