It is very common. Those are your AC lines and if you do no have your intake properly installed, it will mess them up.

They seem to be AC lines to me, they are the only ones that I can think of that are warped with foam. You might want to gently push and somewhat rebind them out of the way, so they will clear your intake better. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem, but i just wrapped electrical tape around them, and it stop rubbing a hole in the intake and the A/C lines.

I would just spend the money(if you have it), and get a nicer intake. If not, try and raise the intake up off of the lines. It doesn't need to be sitting on the lines like that at all. Even if you have them taped up.

put electrical tape over the exposed metal. when you reinstall your intake, put a wedge inbetween the intake and AC line then tighten the clamp. after, take the wedge out and you should have good clearance inbetween.

wire loom wont last very long. neither will black tape or foam. it gets hot in there. it vibrates alot.get a chunk of pure silicone heater hose. napa should sell it by the foot. split it with a razor knife. hose clamp it into place. it will last for the lifetime of the car.
