Default Type R or not?

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a type r axle-back and a gsr axle-back? Are there different outer characteristics that would give it away just by looking at it?

I thought the later GSR catbacks have angled tips too. Also, isn't the ITR catback tip welded on, while the GSR is held by a screw?

I am pretty sure that all GSR tips are screwed on and straight tipped.

You are right. The GSR tip is just some bling on top of the metal exhaust.

You can also check out the pipe where they bent. Also the Type R muffler is stainless steel.

Yup. The GSR tips are not welded on like the ITR.
