I just bought a type r cluster,a 98 dc2 type r cluster.I was planning to switch my LS cluster for the type r.the thing is that its not really compatable with the LS.For instance,when i use my LS plugs on the type r cluster the Anti-Lock Brake light stays on,and when i put the gas meter plug in it fills opposite of what i have in the tank.:::Example:::::if i'm on E the gas meter will read full wierd huh.Has anybody heard of this problem if so how can I fix this....

 

switch the green film on the clusters.

Not hard at all. Just take your time to be sure you don't damage anything. Takes about 5-10 mins

 

just take out the guages and put it into your LS...rather then swapping the green film..but either way works....
