will up grading my gsr head with tpye R parts do me any good??????planing on putting a turbo soon....and will it be best just to put turbo pistons on stock rods to save money or leave it alone ??????

 

Leave it alone. For the $ you'd spend on a type r head you could buy 1/2 your turbo kit.

he said upgrade his GSR head with ITR components, not swap heads. I say go for it if you can get the parts for a good price.

 

gsr head internals are fine. the itr stuff is just a little lighter. use the money towards the kit.

 

Letsdrive You could just save your money parts better suited for forced induction.
