Default Type 1 Racing

Does Type 1 Racing make a 2.5" exhaust for the 94-97 GSRs? If not what would I have to do to modify the ITR one to fit?

Try this = IPS Racing

It seems you'd have to get the axle back, then the b-pipe... if that's the case then ouch, that's expensive

www.randdmotorsports.com has the exhausts listed to be '97-'01, Will these not fit a '95 chassis? What modifying would I have to do in order to fit the exhaust to a '95 GSR. As you can tell I really want the T1R exhaust, thanks for your help

I think the full exhaust on randdmotorsports.com is a Type R only...??

The exhaust will not bolt up because your cat is too short. Just get a proper length carsound cat with a jdm header at the same time

if he got the 94-99 t1r cat back wouldnt it bolt right up to his cat.

its the jdm header that wont bolt up to the cat, right?

He has a '95 GS-R, so it will be about 4" too short.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I was planning on a JDM (or DC) 4-1 header with 2.5" and a testpipe along with the T1R exhaust, but it sounds like I may have to go with a carsound cat or a custom pipe.

There is no T1R for GS-R's. They are only made to "bolt-on" to ITR's. Of course GS-R owners simply just have to run a JDM header and a proper length 2.5" cat. Which is logical considering the T1R is ~63.5mm=2.5". IMHO, a bit too big for a bolt-on's only GS-R, or one running a USDM header/2.25" cat combo. Running a JDM header and full 2.5" exhaust is more suitable when you upgrade to cams such as ITR cams.

There is no T1R for GS-R's.

Actually there is. You can get the 94-99 GSR Bpipe and use a dc2 axle back.
