Two quick questions...
About to get the first oil change for my gs-r.. should I use synthetic oil or just the regular stuff?
Second question: how does one go about filling the holes from the rear spoiler? do you guys think that if I took the spoiler to a body shop and traded them my spoiler(for spare parts or something?) they would cut me a deal on filling the holes? (with touch up paint and all?)

You'll get alot of different answers for question number, personally I use regular 5w30 oil (mobil 1).
I don't think a body shop would trade or take the spoiler as a discount. They need to weld the holes, its a decent sized job. Most people use colored electrical tape. Me, once again, just left the spoiler on and got used to it.

JB weld sheet metal on the inside, bondo the indent, rattlecan paint it FTW!

Use synthetic, and there are spolier plugs that you can order somewhere on this site. Or find a friend with an LS/RS/GS teg to obtain these plugs.

Synthetic seeps through old seals.
Question 2: Cover the holes up with an R wing. That's what I did.
