already searched, who else makes twin loop besides hytech or mugen, preferably 2.5in thx

nah, thats ok anyone else is there any quiet 2.5 i know bout the other ones apexi ws , comptech so on but i beleive there all 2.25

 

im pretty sure i have the obx one one my car but its only 2.25". i dont see how its rice just becuase of the name. the muffler looks almost the same as any other twin loop muffler. it only has a 3" tip which is smaller than most if not all the prefered brands of exhaust on here. i have custom 2.25" piping w/ a resonator matched to this muffler and i think it sounds great. its one of the better exhausts i have heard on a honda. very quiet, only slightly louder than stock and a little deeper. i have had it on for about 6 months or so and everything is still fine w/ it.

hytech makes one. thier quality is comparable to mugen but be ready to dish out some $$....here's a pic of my buddy's

Is it just to be a "ricer" or deos it create back pressure, or have some ACTUAL purpose?

the purpose is that it basically acts as two mufflers since it goes through the muffler once, loops around and goes through the muffler again so that it will be quiet w/o losing perfomance. it basically has the performance of a straight through muffler w/ the sound of a chambered muffler.

 

If you're so worried about the noise but can't dish out the money, just get a custom 2.5 mandrel with new cat (if you dont have one, my choice is Carsound ---2 resonators and your choice of muffler... always works. Get straight through oval canister type and paint it bbq black... to the untrained eye they would think its a stock exhaust your running.
