Default tuning a boosted engine

Im thinking about boostin my 92 LS. I just wanted to know what exactly needs to get tuned, and what I will need to buy to get it done professionally. Im not going to be using stock internals just the stock block. From reading up on here if I get the engine tuned well, I should be OK on the stock block. Im not looking for a crazy amount of power, just a daily driver.....thanks

a standalone like aem ems...or a rom editor/burner like crome pro/ uberdata

i suggest buying a wideband and egt sensor...youll also need a chipped and socketed ECU...from there its taking your car to someone to tune it...or learn yourself

what they do when they tune your car is adjust how much fuel to give the car at certain rpms and they adjust the ignition timing accordingly to make the most power safely and give you great partial throttle gas mileage

I would like to do it myself I just dont have the materials do it. Im just scared to take it to someone. I will have to find a reputable shop around do it.

you can do it yourself...but id suggest watching how its done a few times before doing it yourself...thats how i learned the basics..also when tuning a car...it can be frustrating because if conditions change with the car...itll change a lot of things...thats why its easier to have them do it in a controlled environment...unless youre doing a street tune
