I've noticed lately that my car doesn't shift as smooth as it used to, especially to go into reverse it doesn't seem to "catch" a lot of the time I will have to put the car in neautral, let out the cluth, push the cluth in and then pull it into reverse. My shifter is stock but I just had a brand new Luk Repset Gold Series clutch professionaly installed, any ideas?

Maybe the clutch wasn't installed right?

 

try cheap things first like changing the tranny fluid. Make sure to use honda manual transmission fluid.

 

might be the rod that connects the shifter to the tranny.

edit...or simply age of tranny.

i got the same problem.. i always had problems with puting it in reverse... bring it to first them to reverse.... but a couple of times i had problems w/ 1st too...
