Default Trunk Question

Hi everyone..

I dunno what the term is for the trunk supports in my 2000 gs, the ones that are hydraulic that have the air in them lol. Well theyre not working now and i need new ones or old ones. Will the ones from a 94+ fit on my 2000 or i need to look for the ones 98+?. Hopefully you guys know what im talking about.

That's odd. Your car isn't that old. My 94 still has the original hatch supports and they work fine. Am I just lucky?

well i live in Canada, it might be cuz of the cold, i remeber one day all was frozen and i it was hard to open the trunk so i forcefully opened it, that might have broken the lift supports.

I have a 94 gsr and live in minnesota and mine are original too. I doubt it's because of the cold.

cold DOES make a difference...
BTW All G3 hatch struts are the same fitment but if you have a spoiler or wing you need the correct ones for a GSR or Type-R...
