Right now my ET right now is 15.152 @ 93mph. I was told that My MPH is high and that a Type R trap speed is 94-96. I know that right now my main issue is getting good traction out of my launches which is why im about to buy new tires. Do u think my car will be running 14s once i get good traction?.

i think its a 2.4 or 2.3. But oddly, friday i ran a 15.2 @ 92mph with a 2.5 60 foot. I think the problem is a cross between the track and my launching.

 

If you can land a 2.1-2.2 60ft time you'll be in the high 14's. Its definately your launch. before i had my cams and some other mods look at the difference in these 2 times and 60's, then you'll see why it makes a huge difference. this was done on the same track on the same day

1st run
60ft - 2.388.....1/4 - 14.776....trap speed....95.86

next run
60ft - 2.195.....1/4 - 14.465....trap speed....95.88

now you look at that. my trap speed was lower and i dropped my time 3 tenths. the reason for my trap speed being lower is that i couldn't get my car to go into 5th at the end of the track. so my time would have been lower and my trap speed would have been higher. this just shows how much a 60ft time can drop your time. the reason why i go into 5th is because i have a 4.785 fd and itr tranny. this run was when i had my GSR cams.......so you can definately get into the 14's with a good 60ft

that means alot coming from you who had to gut your car (passenger seat, rear seat and door panels, jack, spair tire and all) just to run a 15.187(15.2), top it off you had to run 9 times that day just to get it. I ran my car as is with everything down to my school books, top it off i did all that a worse track when u did urs at a better track. No need for you to be mad that YOU KNOW that you cant beat me, just keep ur comments to yourself and go cry in the corner. Now that. Oh yea keep in mind that your best with full interior in ur car and Intake is 15.5, you probally still didnt have the jack and spair tire in but it again took you like 7-8 runs that day just to get that.

yea why lie is the same thing i asked you about why u would tell me some dumb crap that you weighed your gutted car and ended up weighing more than a STOCK GSR. Now that doesnt make any damn sense so u say that it weighed that because u had stereo equipment in the car which was a lie because I have witnesses that say ur car didnt have nothing but a strut bar and driver seat in it.
