So iv been on the pursuit for a new cable trans for my db1 either a ys1 gsr, or a y1. So I was cruising Craigslist and this guy has a post that says he has a b16 cable trans so I call him and head that way. I get there and the trannys plate says A1- and some numbers????? Iv been researching and some post say ista a typical ls and some say it equivalent to a y1 or j1 can any one help me further???

 

Never heard of a b series transmission that started with A , cable transmissions are the Y1, YS1, S1/J1, S1/YS1 as far as I know. 94

 

I just talked to a few buddies it's just a slightly lower final drive ls tranny nothing really special.
